South Santa Clara County Fire District (SSCCFD), was formed in 1980 and covering 320 square miles in Santa Clara County (California) including the areas of Gilroy, Hecker Pass, Masten, Morgan Hill, Rucker, San Martin & Treehaven.

South Santa Clara County Fire District is in partnership with CAL FIRE (California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection).

South Santa Clara County Fire District was formed in 1980 when the Gilroy Rural Fire District consolidated with the Morgan Hill Rural Fire District as the South
County Fire Protection District of Santa Clara County.
