Torrance Fire Department (TFD), covering 20.53 square miles in Los Angeles County (California) including the areas of Chatelaine, Columbia Park, Country Hills, Delthorne, Hillside, Lagp Seco Park, Los Arboles Rocketship Park, Madrona, New Horizons South Bay, Old Torrance, Pacific Colony, Pacific South Bay, Park Plaza, Perry, Pueblo, Seaside, South Bayport, Southwood, Southwood Sunray, Southwood Riviera, Torrance Beach, Torrance Windemere, Victor Park, Walteria & Walteria Lake.

Torrance Fire Department was formed in 1912 as the Torrance Volunteer Fire Department and in TVFD 1921 was organized into a paid department.

Torrance Fire Department has mutual-aid agreements with the El Segundo Fire Department, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Manhattan Beach Fire Department & Redondo Beach Fire Department.
