Whitfield County Fire Department (WCFD) is a ISO Class 3 department covering 291 square miles and serves 106,000 citizens. WCFD provides fire and emergency services to the communities of Beaverdale, Carbondale, Cohutta, Dalon, Dawnville, Mill Creek, Pleasant Grove, Resaca, River Bend, Rocky Point, Tunnel Hill, Valley Point, and Varnell.
