Brownsburg Fire Territory

Brownsburg Fire Territory (BFT), covering 52 square miles in Hendricks County (Indiana) including the areas of Arbuckle Acres, Blue Ridge, Brown Township, Brownsburg, Creek Ridge, Eagle Creek Park, Fairfield Heights, Hession Fields, Lincoln Township, Shoal Creek & Sportsfield Park.

Brownsburg Fire Territory was originally formed as a volunteer fire department in 1923 and established in 1942 as the Brownsburg Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD). In 1959 the department becomes the Brownsburg Fire Department (BFD). In 1995 the department becomes the Brownsburg Fire Territory, a career fire department.
