Santa Claus Volunteer Fire Department (SCVFD), organized in 1974 and covering 18 square miles in Spencer County (Indiana) including the areas of Carter, Christmas Lake, Christmas Lake Village, Clay, Harrison, Holiday World, Holiday Village, Holy Park, Lake Holly, Lake Noel, Lake Rudolph Campground, Santa Claus Lake & White Pine.
