New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD), covering 350 square miles including 170 square miles of water in Orleans Parish (Louisiana). (FDID # 36001)

The New Orleans Fire Department began in 1829 as the New Orleans Volunteer Fire Department, and in 1891 the New Orleans Fire Department went into service.
