York Beach Fire Department (YBFD), founded in 1890 and covering 56 square miles in York County including the areas of Barn Point, Cape Neddick, Cliff House, Dover Bluff, Long Sands Beach, Mount Agamenticus, Nubble Lighthouse, Prebble Brook, Short Sands & Yorks Wild Kingdom.
