Albert Lea Fire Rescue (ALFR), located in Freeborn County (Minnesota) including the areas of Academy Park, Albert Lea, Albert Lea Lake, Bellview Park, Dress Island, Edina Memorial Park, Fountain Lake, Halverson, Higbie Gardens, Katherine Island, Pelican Breeze, Shoff Park, Southwest Park & Wedgewood.

Albert Lea Fire Rescue was organized in 1870 as the Albert Lea Bucket Brigade and in 1879 the Albert Lea Fire Department was organized. The department became a fully paid organization in 1948. The Albert Lea Township Fire Department merged into the district in 2016.
