Bemidji Fire Department (BFD), located in Beltrami & Hubbard Counties (Minnesota) including the areas of Bemidji, Bemidji Regional Aiport, Birchmont, Birchmont Beach, Cameron Park, Diamond Point, Durand, Eckles, Fern, Forest View, Frohn, Grand Valley, Grass Lake, Helga, Lake Bemidji, Lake Hattie, Lake Irving, Liberty, Mississippi River, Norway Park, Northern, Nymore Beach, Nymore Park, Paul Bunyan Park, Port Hope, Rockwood, Secluded Acres, Scoolcraft, Skyline, Turtle Lake, Turtle River, Wilton & Woodland Park.

Bemidji Fire Department is a joint fire protection district agency with an agreement between the City of Bemidji and the Bemidji Rural Fire Association (Bemidji Area).

Bemidji has mutual-aid with Alaska Township Fire Department, Bagley Fire Department, Blackduck Fire Department, Cass Lake Fire Department, Kelliher Fire Department, Lake George Fire Department, Lakeport Fire Department, Minnesota DNR – Department of Natural Resources Forestry, Park Rapids Fire Department, Red Lake Fire Department, Shevlin Fire Department & Solway Fire Department.
