Falcon Heights Fire Department

Falcon Heights Fire Department (FHFD), was established in 1949 and covering 3 square miles in Ramsey County (Minnesota) including the areas of Falcon Heights, Lauderdale & Midland Hills.

Falcon Heights Fire Department is a member of the North Suburban Hazmat Team.

The City of Falcon Heights contracted the administrative leadership of the FHFD to the Roseville Fire Department (Minnesota). The Roseville Chief and Deputy Chief provide oversight of the department by completing audit, scheduling equipment checks, and  providing/recommending training curriculum.

In 2020, the City of Falcon Heights contracted out fire service from the Lauderdale Fire Department.

**In 2021, Lauderdale Fire Department dropped it’s fire contract to enter a contract with the Saint Paul Fire Department and the fire services are now are provided by the Saint Paul Fire Department (Minnesota).
