Lakes Region Emergency Medical Service covering over 1,000 square miles in Minnesota and Wisconsin including the areas of Chisago County, Chisago City, Chisago Lakes, Isanti County, Lindstrom, Milltown, North Branch, Pine County, Rush City, St. Criox Falls, Pine County and Polk County, Wisconsin.

In 2001 the Lakes Region EMS was formed with the merger of three separate organizations: Chisago Lakes Rescue, North Branch Area Rescue Service and Rush Lake Ambulance.

Lakes Region EMS is dispatched by the Chisago County Sheriff’s Department Communication Center.
