Minneapolis Fire Department (MFD), located in Hennepin County including the areas of Audubon Park, Bohanon, Bryant, Folwell, Fulton, Glenwood, Harrison, Holmes, Howe, Lind, Marcy, Morris Park, Powderhorn Park, Prospect Park, Sheridan, Seward, Stevens Square, Summer, West Calhoun, Whittier & Windom.

Minneapolis Fire Department was originally formed in 1865, in 1875 as the Minneapolis Volunteer Hose 1 and in 1879 as a paid department.
