Nisswa Volunteer Fire Department (NFD), established in 1954 and located in Crow Wing County including Bass Lake, Brainerd Lakes Area, Clark Lake, Guida Lake, Gull Lake, Lake Edward, Lake Hubert, Lake Margaret, Lake Shore, Leech Lake Trail, Lost Lake, Nisswa, Nisswa Lake, Pelican, Rice Lake, Roy Lake, Sherwood Forest, Sibley & Spider Lake.

Nisswa Fire Department is also known as the Nisswa Volunteer Fire Department and Nisswa Fire Rescue.
