Owatonna Fire Department (OFD), located in Steele County including the areas of Kaplans Woods Park, Leo Rudolph Nature Reserve, Mineral Springs Park, Northwoods & Somerset State Wildlife Area.

Owatonna Fire Department was originally established in 1875 as the Spring City Fire Department until 1884 when the department was disbanded and then reorganized the same year.
