East Fork Fire Protection District (EFFPD), founded in 1981 and covering 600 square miles in Douglas & Lyon Counties (Nevada) including the areas of Aantelope Velley, Adams Canyon, Carson Valley, Double Spring, Dresslerville, Gardnerville, Genoa, Glenbrook, Gray Hills, Jacks Valley, James Canyon, Johnson Lane, Kingsbury, Lake Tahoe, Lake Topaz, Long Valley, Minden, Mott Canyon, Mud Lake, Pine Nut, Red Hill, Toiyabe National Forest, Water Canyon, Wellington & Wild Oat Mountain.
