North Las Vegas Fire Department (NLVFD), covering 100.7 square miles in Clark County (Nevada) including the areas of Aliante, Camino Al Norte, Casa Corona, City View, Oak Island, Shadow Creek & Wann. 

North Las Vegas Fire Department currently operates out of 8 fire stations with operations personnel divided into two battalions and three platoons (A, B, C), with 1/3 of the department on duty at a time. Firefighters work a 48-96 schedule, meaning that they are on duty for 48 hours straight.

Each battalion is supervised by a Battalion Chief and overseen by the Assistant Fire Chief of Operations. Service is delivered utilizing six engine companies, two truck companies, an air resource/rehab unit and two transport-capable rescue units.
