Navajo Nation Fire Department (NNFD) (Navajo Nation Department of Fire & Rescue Services), all-volunteer department established in 1985 covering the Eastern Agency & Shiprock Agency in San Juan County (New Mexico) including the areas of Newcomb, Ojo Amarillo, Shiprock, Shiprock Peak & Skyhawk. Also covering parts of Arizona in the Fort Defiance Agency and Chinle Agency.
