North Ridgeville Fire Department (NRFD), covering 25 square miles in Lorain County (Ohio) including the areas of Chestnut Ridge, Field, Palmer Field, Ridgeville Park, Redwood North, Sandelwood Acres, Shady Ridge, Shawville Station, Stoney Ridge, Sugar Ridge & West Ponit.

North Ridgeville Fire Department was originally formed in 1931 as the Ridgeville Township Fire Department, all-volunteer fire company until 1967 when the department sworn in the first full-time paid firefighters.

North Ridgeville Fire Department is dispatched by the West Shore Dispatch Center.
