Hennessey Fire Department, covering 325 square mile in Kingfisher County (Oklahoma) including the areas of Bison, Bull Foot Park, Cimarron River, Little Turkey Creek & Turkey Creek.

Hennessey Fire Department was formed in Hennessey Volunteer Fire Department. In 1962 the Hennessey Rural Fire Association was formed with local farmers that raised money to buy an old Army 6×6 truck with 1000 gallons, and in 1968 due to skyrocketing costs of equipment and maintenance the rural fire association was dissolved and the “rural” fire department was turned over to the town.
