Fire Response & Research Center is located at 6550 Liberty Lane, and is part of the Marine & Environmental Research and Training Station (MERTS).

1990 Seagrave 1000 gallon water tank, will be used as a training engine and can also be used in local fires on an as-needed basis. This engine was donation from the Pacific County Fire District (PCFD) # 1.
