Newport Fire Department (NFD), covering 36 square miles in Lincoln County (Oregon) including the areas of Agate Beach, Beverly Beach, Deco District, Historic Bayfront, Lost Creek, Nye Beach & South Beach.

Newport Fire Department started out as the Newport Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1 in 1885.

The city of Newport is surrounded on the north, west and south by the Newport Rural Fire Protection District, which contracts with the City of Newport for fire protection.
