Salem Fire Department (SFD), covering 30 square miles in Marion County (Oregon) including the areas of Battle Creek, Chapman Corner, Chemeketa Community College, East Lancaster, Four Corners, Fruitland, Grace Hill, Grant, Highland, Lansing, Liberty, Morningside, Oak Park & Sunnyslope.

Salem Fire Department is divided by the Willamette River. One portion of the District is in West Salem, and the other is in South Salem.

The Salem Suburban Rural Fire Protection District (SSRFPD) was created in January of 1973, and the rural stations are Station 4, Station 5, Station 7, Station 9 & Station 11. Station 8 is shared with the Marion County Fire District # 1 and the Chemeketa Emergency Services (Chemeketa Community College).
