Wheeler County Fire & Rescue (WCF&R), covering 781.25 square miles in Wheeler County (Oregon) including the areas of Burton Canyon, Fossil, Fossil Park, Grassy Dell Creek, John Day River, Kahler Creek, Horseshoe Creek, Juniper Canyon, Long Hollow, Masiker Canyon, Mitchell, Muleshoe Campground, Service Creek, Service Creek & Spray.
Wheeler County Fire & Rescue was formed when the Wheeler County Office of Emergency Management merged the Wheeler County Search & Rescue with elements of the Wheeler Point Fire Association to create Wheeler County Fire & Rescue.
Wheeler County Fire & Rescue is part of the Wheeler County Rangeland Fire Protection Association (RFPA).
