Woodburn Fire District

Woodburn Fire District (WFD), covering 75 square miles in Marion County (Oregon) including the areas of Broadacres, Gervais & Waconda.

Woodburn Fire District was originally established in 1901 as the Woodburn Fire Department and the Woodburn Rural Fire Protection District was established in 1946. In 1984, an election was held and voters chose to annex the city department into the rural protection district and the Woodburn Fire District was created. In 1987 the Gervais Fire Department was added to the district.
