Keystone Fire Department, covering  square miles in Pennington County including the areas of Buckeye Gulch, Iron Mountain, Lafferty Gulch, Old Hill City & Rocky Gulch.

Keystone Fire Department originally formed in 1937 as the Keystone Volunteer Fire Department. In 2017 the department merged with the Hayward Fire Department and Hermosa Fire Department to form the Battle Creek Fire Department.
