Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport Fire Department (DFW), established in 1973 and located in Dallas & Tarrant Counties (Texas) including the areas of Bear Creek, Big Bear Creek, Broadmoor Hills, Coppell, Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport, Hackberry Creek & Valley View.

Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport Fire Department, covering EMS, structural and ARFF responses. DFW Fire Department is part of the DFW Department of Public Safety. The department has 184 firefighters / EMT-Basic / EMT-Paramedics with 36 firefighters and 7 paramedics per-shift. The airport is the 2nd busiest airport in the United States and is the second largest airport by land area in the United States, after the Denver International Airport. The size is larger then the city of Manhattan, New York with 28 square miles and 18,000 acres of property.
