Northwestern Special Service Fire District (NWSSD), located in Washington County (Utah) including the areas of Baker Reservoir, Brookside, Center, Chad Ranch, Gunlock Reservoir, Gunlock State Park, Miners Canyon, Rancho Veyo, Sand Cove Wash, Spanish Trail & Veyo.

Northwestern Special Service Fire District is the former Brookside Volunteer Fire Department, Center Fire Department, Gunlock Fire Department and Veyo Volunteer Fire Department

Northwestern Fire District has mutual-aid agreements with Dammeron Valley Fire Department, Diamond Valley Fire Department & Pine Valley Fire Department.
