Tooele Army Depot Fire Department (TEAD Fire Department), covering 67.1 square miles located in Tooele County (Utah) and encompasses the North and South area (formerly Deseret Chemical Depot) including 3,158 vertical structures, 43 miles of rail and a storage capacity of over 2.7 million square feet.

TEAD (TEAD Fire Department) currently employees approximately 475 civilian employees. The surrounding communities of Tooele, Grantsville, Rush Valley, Ophir, Stockton, and Vernon consist of approximately 46,000 people. For many of these communities, the Depot Fire Department is the closest resource, and is the only full-time staffed career Fire Department capable of a 24/7 response in Tooele County. As such, the Tooele Army Depot Fire Department is routinely called out for mutual aid, and has several mutual aid agreements in place.
