Cowlitz County Fire District # 2 (Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue), covering 152 square miles in Cowlitz County (Washington State) including the areas of Abernathy Creek, Bakers Corner, Bunker Hill, Carrolls, Clark Creek, Coal Creek, Columbia Heights, Germany Creek, Holcomb Acres, Kelso, Longview, Mill Creek, Mt. Brynion, Mt. Pleasant, Ostrander, Rose Valley & Willow Grove.

Cowlitz County Fire District # 2 was created in 1947 as the Cowlitz County Rural Fire Protection District # 2. In 1998 Longview Fire Department merged the administrative and became the Longview / Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue, and in 2001 this was dissolved into two separate entities.
