Galeton Grass Fire

On April 6th, 2025 Weld County Regional Communications Center dispatched Galeton Fire Protection District to a reported grass fire that started as an agricultural burn on County Rd. 51. The fire impacted about two acres with fences and threatened one home and it’s out buildings. The fire was stopped before it damaged any homes.
