Colorado Springs Mobile Home Fire

At 06:55 on October 30th, 2025 the Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center dispatched the Colorado Springs Fire Department to the 2400 block of Busch Ave for a possible structure fire. At 06:58, Engine 13 arrived on scene to a mobile home fully involved with fire that was quickly spreading to cars and neighboring mobile homes. Firefighters quickly began primary fire attack and conducted a search due to reports of an occupant trapped inside. Crews located the victim after a neighbor recused them from the home. The patient was soon transported to a local hospital for minor burns. The fire was called under control at 07:30 and cause was determined to be the improper use of smoking materials.
