South Adams Grass Fire

On November 4th, 2025 at 15:55 South Adams County Fire Department responded to a grass fire on the west side of Hwy. 2 at E. 70th Ave. near the railroad tracks. Engine 22 arrived to a small grass fire and started fire attack with Brush 23 and Rescue 23. The fire was quickly extinguished and crews worked on the overhaul with hot spots before going back in service. The cause is under investigation.
