Front Range Multi-Company Drills
Front Range Fire Rescue conducted drills on February 7th, 2025 at 1112 Sandra Drive in Johnstown. Crews from Engine 509 (Station 1) and Engine 502 (Station 2) were lead through the drills by Battalion Chief Roberts. The simulated scenario included searching for and rescuing a victim at an undisclosed location within the basement area, while dealing with a working structure fire and low visibility from (theatrical) smoke. These types of drills and training, ensure that fire and rescue crews remain prepared, should crews encounter comparable situations and conditions. The empty single-family home and three other adjacent units were donated to the areas first responders, by the city of Johnstown, for training purposes.
