Inaugural Crucible Training

On May 31st, 2025 19 firefighters from Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Canada endured The first Crucible hosted at the South Adams County Fire Department Training Center by Fit To Fight Fire, Hardknox Training and Rouge Firemanship training. All these 19 firefighters knew was that they were going to be doing 12 gear workouts over 24 hours, a workout every other hour for 24 hours, and they had no idea what each workout would be. By the morning of June 1st 16 firefighters were left. These 16 firefighters showed heart, grit and dedication to the job and pushed there mind and body to its limits.
