Pueblo Vehicle Fire

On May 12th, 2025 just after 20:15 Pueblo West Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on Hwy. 50 westbound near mile marker 311 which is just west of Pueblo Blvd. Callers reported that a pickup truck being towed by another vehicle was engulfed in flames. While enroute fire crews reported a column of black smoke from a ways out. Crews arrived on scene to a fully involved pickup with fire spreading from the engine compartment into the cabin of the truck. A tender was requested from Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Division (ESD). Units were able to make quick work of the fire and prevented it from spreading to surrounding vegetation.
