Glenwood Springs RV Fire

Just before 07:00 February 28th, 2026 the Garfield County Emergency Communications Authority dispatched the Glenwood Springs Fire Department to the 50200 block of Hwy. 6 in Glenwood Springs at the Ami’s Acres Campground for reports of a RV on fire. Responders arrived to find a camper with smoke and flames showing; they pulled attack lines to limit the damage to the impacted unit. Once the fire was contained no injuries were reported and the American Red Cross responded to assist the displaced homeowner. Additional information provided by the Glenwood Springs Fire Department
