On March 28th, 2026 North Central Fire Protection District volunteers trained in structure fire operations at the old Bijou Church off of Ridge Rd. This gave members a chance to refresh their skills on fire attack duties, pumping, nursing from a tender and command. A new member of the department will also be going through the fire academy very soon.
