Weld County Ground Cover Fire

On August 3rd, 2009 around 16:00 Weld County Regional Communications Center (WCRCC) dispatched Southeast Weld Fire Protection District to a reported ground cover fire at County Rd. 8 south of Roggen. Crews arrived to a large wind driven fire close to the Roggen Peaks Ranch and crews started fire attack and water supply at County Rd. 75 and County Rd. 8. Firefighters were able to get control of the fire quickly with no structures lost.
