Commercial Structure Fire

Around 16:30 on September 26th, 2012 South Adams County Fire Department was alerted to a structure fire at 5350 E. 52nd Ave. in Commerce City. First due units found a building under construction with fire conditions. Units set up a master stream operations and hand lines to attack the fire. The fire was quickly put under control within 15 minutes with extensive overhaul needed. It is believed that work from a welding torch started the blaze. The fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
