First Day of Patient Transport

The Arvada Fire Protection District started their first day of patient transport at 08:30 on March 1st, 2013 with a “Wetdown’. Arvada Fire takes over the medical service from the past provider Pridemark Paramedics. The new 6 new ambulances that went into service were: Medic 51, Medic 53, Medic 55, Medic 56, Medic 57, & Medic 58. The new ambulances are 2012 Ford F-450 4×4 Super Duty / MedTecs, featuring the Whelen “Howler” siren, which is a low frequency siren.
