Horsetooth Falls Rescue

At 16:41 on May 12th, 2016 Poudre Fire Authority was alerted to a person stranded upon Horsetooth Falls about 50 feet above the falls on a steady ledge. Employing high-angle rescue techniques, using a system of ropes, rescuers made it to the man just before 18:30. One rescuer was lowered down to the ledge where the man was stranded, and both were then lifted back up to safety. Everyone was off the rock at about 19:10. No one, including the man rescued, was injured. Additional information provided by Poudre Fire Authority
