Carpenter Road Fire

On February 10th, 2017 Poudre Fire Authority responded to grass fire on Hwy. 392 east of Hwy. 287 in the Pelican Marsh Natural Area. Crews arrived to heavy fire and started fire attack, and got the fire 100% contained in the evening. Crews remained on scene over night with mop-up and to check for any flare-ups. The fire burned around 150 acres, and no structures were threatened. Additional information provided by Poudre Fire Authority.
