Low Angle Rescue

At 09:25 on November 10th, 2018 Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center dispatched Colorado Springs Fire Department Engine 20 to a motor vehicle collision in the 3900 block of Dublin Blvd. Once on scene Engine 20 discovered the vehicle went into a nearby ravine. Engine 20 then established Cottonwood Command and requested a truck company to respond to assist with a low angle rescue. Truck 19 was then dispatched to the incident at 09:32. Truck 19 arrived, and crews began to ready the patient for up haul. The patient was extricated from the ravine at 09:53 and transported to an area hospital by Medic 74. The call was terminated at 09:55 and crews were released shortly after. The incident is under investigation by the Colorado Springs Police Department.
