Fort Carson Midway Ranch Fire

The Fort Carson Midway Ranch Fire, which started in the southeastern portion of Fort Carson’s training area on March 16th, 2018 and consumed approximately 2,100 acres in Pueblo and El Paso counties. Approximately 100 Pueblo County residents living in the Midway Ranch area remain on evacuation orders as crews continue fire suppression efforts. An evacuation center was located at the Fountain Valley Baptist Church in Fountain for all evacuees.
