Spring Creek Fire

The Spring Creek Fire (Formerly known as the Spring Fire) started June 27th, 2018 and is 5 miles northeast of Ft. Garland. As of July 13th the fire is 91% contained and has burned 108,045 acres, which makes this fire the the third largest fire ever in the state of Colorado behind the Hayman Fire in 2002, which burned 138,114 acres and the West Fork Complex Fire that burned 109,632 acres in 2013.
