Colorado Springs Vehicle Fire

At approximately at 11:50 on February 24, 2019 Colorado Springs Fire Department Engine 20 was dispatched by Grand Junction Regional Communication Center to the 5900 block of Barnes Rd. on a vehicle fire. En route Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center advised that the vehicle was fully involved and the tires had exploded. Battalion 4 overheard the updated and was attached to the incident. On scene Engine 20 pulled a 1 ¾ inch attack line and Battalion 4 was cancelled. At 12:10 the fire was deemed under control, and Engine 20 remained on scene until fire investigators arrived.
