Gas Line Break

At approximately 11:30 on May 1st, 2019 Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of N. Circle Dr. & E. Dale St. for a reported gas line struck. On scene, Engine 7 reported an active gas leak and proceeded to clamp the line with HazMat 6, while other members from HazMat 6 checked the surrounding building for readings of gas. At 12:13 the line was clamped, units began to wrap up, and the scene was handed over to Colorado Springs Utilities. Fire crews went back into service at 12:30.
