At approximately 14:20 on January 18th, 2019 Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched by Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center to the intersection of N. Academy Blvd. and Parkmoor Village Dr. While en route, dispatched received an update from Medic 24, already on scene, that there were three vehicles involved and that all parties were out. Engine 10 arrived on scene and advised that all three vehicles received heavy damage and requested an additional ambulance to respond code 2. Medic 24 and Medic 22 both transported patients to a local hospital at approximately 14:45. Engine 10 went into service at 14:50 and handed over the investigation to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
