At approximately 13:42 on October 28th, 2019 Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center dispatched Colorado Springs Fire Department to the 4900 block of Sonota Dr. for a possible structure fire. Engine 10 arrived on scene and found the front door and frame on fire with the fire spreading up the alpha side of the structure. Engine 10 called the incident a working fire, however, did not request a working fire compliment, due to fire being very quickly knocked down fairly quickly. Truck 10 performed the primary and secondary searches and assisted Engine 10 with overhaul and hotspots. Engine 14 and Rescue 17 arrived and staged before being canceled at 14:01. Engine 10, Truck 10, and Battalion 2 cleared the scene shortly after and handed the scene over to X-Ray 194 for investigation.

Units on Scene: Battalion 2, Battalion 3 (Canceled), Battalion 4 (Canceled), Engine 10, Engine 14, Truck 10, Rescue 17 (Reserve) & X-Ray 194 (Fire Investigator)
