Trash Truck MVC

At 09:11 on August 28th, 2019 Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the intersection of Stetson Hills Blvd. and N Powers Blvd. for a MVC involving a trash truck and multiple vehicles. When police first arrived they reported a party was trapped and a vehicle was on fire. A Working Trapped Compliment was then dispatched. Engine 17 was assigned fire attack and medical group. Truck 19 and Rescue 17 were assigned rescue group. Once crews extricated the patients, crews noticed oil was leaking from the trash truck and requested HazMat to respond. Once crews contained all hazards, the scene was handed over to the CSPD for investigation.
